Today, unlike many other sectors in the world, the aviation sector continues to grow by 12% annually. Together with the growing sector, the need for pilots increase day by day. According to a survey conducted by Boeing in 2015, it is estimated that 550,000 new pilots will be needed in the next 20 years.
The situation is different in Turkey. The pilots in Turkey have gone to other countries, for different reasons, such pension firms that are losing on an average a pilot each day .
With the opening of Istanbul Airport, Istanbul will undoubtedly become one of the important spots in the world's air transportation. Airlines, including THY, Sunexpress and Pegasus, continue to grow by adding new aircraft to their fleet every year. This also means that the need for new pilots every year in Turkey is around 1500-2000.
All flight schools in Turkey can give a total of around 400-450 graduates each year. The number of students studying in Europe and America is around 500 per year.
Taking all of this into consideration, pilots with well-trained English over the next five years will not have any worries about finding a job.
